The next best to oral Tranexamic Acid! I’m on estrogen patch and cannot take oral Tranexamic acid, so this cream is the highest possible concentration I can take topically. It appears to be helping my hyperpigmentation.

For me, fades but does not eliminate after six months of am and pm use. I just bought another jar of this. I passed the first one by my dermatologist, because I was unsure if it would be wise to slather myself with something not cleared by the FDA (not like THAT is a guarantee of safety these days...but still.) Dermatologist gave the green light. I can't say this has eliminated all age spots (I'm 65, 5 years of regular sun screen, shameful behavior prior) but I would say it has faded existing spots and likely prohibited new ones. It doesn't help that I am fair skinned and had the nickname of 'freckles' in my teen years. So porcelain skin is probably not in my future, but this helps. I also use Tretinoin and I have worked up to the .1% (highest) concentration. The combo of this Arbutin+ T cream and the Tretinoin has really made a difference.
